Royal Roads community groups
Royal Roads champions campus-wide groups that are open to students, faculty and staff.
Diversity Action Group
The Diversity Action Group is a working group of students, faculty and staff. DAG champions inclusivity and the full participation of all members of our Royal Roads family in the life of the university community.
The group supports diversity-related initiatives and events, raises awareness about issues, and informs and educates our community on the experience of people from different backgrounds.
RRU Proud
Students, faculty and staff at Royal Roads come together to create RRU Proud, a safe and inclusive community for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, two-spirit, queer and questioning members of our university family.
Through RRU Proud, 2SLGBTQI+ individuals and allies share resources and provide outreach at activities and events.
This group also coordinates Positive Space Network workshops. These workshops introduce participants to skills and strategies to help them create safer and more inclusive environments for all members of the Royal Roads community.
